90,000 tonnes urea reach Karaikal port

A consignment of 90,000 tonnes of urea imported for use in the state arrived at Karaikal port on Monday and the Nagapattinam Collector who inspected the fertilizer consignment assured to send them across the state within 15 days.

Inspecting the stock Collector Dr A Arun Thamburaj said, the Chief Minister has been taking all steps to prevent fertilize shortage in the state. As a part of such initiation, two consignments of urea were imported from Oman and China.
