CHENNAI: The Department of Education has ordered the appointment of 13,000 teachers in government schools on a temporary basis.
District officials have also been instructed to take action to appoint temporary teachers from July 1.
The education department has also ordered temporary teachers to be paid between Rs 7,500 and Rs 12,000.
