Of the lot, 260 were posted in Chennai, 149 in Tiruvannamalai, 99 in Kanniyakumari, and 96 in Kallakurichi. While 86 have been posted in Tirunelveli, 72 were posted in Namakkal, 68 in Sivaganga, and 60 in Ramanathapuram.
On Dec 3, 300 petitions were received from police personnel from North Zone and another 760 petitions from Greater Chennai Police as part of the Chief Minister’s departmental redressal scheme.
The petitions were reviewed by a team led by the DGP. Similar camps will be spearheaded by the DGP in Tiruchy and Madurai on December 15 and in Coimbatore on December 17.
