Ultimate Kho Kho: Chennai makes it 3 wins in a row

CHENNAI: Chennai Quick Guns earned its third successive victory in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 1 with a thrilling 53-51 win over Gujarat Giants at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune on Tuesday.

Chennai’s Ramji Kashyap produced another scintillating performance as he bagged a massive 20 points with six dismissals. Heading into the match on the back of successive victories, Quick Guns made a positive start. But, it was the Giants which led – 27-25 – at the conclusion of the first innings.

However, Chennai gained momentum in the third turn, during which it accumulated 22 points to lead 47-31. Quick Guns held its nerve and a strong Gujarat team in the final turn to secure a nail-biting win. Earlier, Telugu Yoddhas defeated Mumbai Khiladis 55-43.
