After restricting Dindigul to a paltry 93 with debutant pacer A Esakkimuthu taking four for 26, Tiruppur chased the score down with more than eight overs to spare.

In-form opener Tushar Raheja remained unbeaten on 65 (39b, 6x4, 5x6) and was involved in an unbroken match-winning partnership of 75 runs for the second wicket with Radhakrishnan who was not out on 14 (21b, 1x6).
