CHENNAI: Silver Strikers turned up the heat, and arrived well in the final, besting Blue Avengers in a rather one-sided affair here on Wednesday. Batting first, Eloksi Arun smashed an unbeaten 71 for the Avengers, which allowed them to get to a respectable score of 126/8 after the 20 overs.
However, the Strikers made hard work of the run chase, with Trisha Madhu scoring an unbeaten 42, chasing down the total with one ball to spare, lifting the TNCA Freyer Trophy Women’s T20 Tournament.
