PKL Season 9 from October 7 in 3 cities

CHENNAI: The ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League will run from October 7 to mid-December and will welcome back fans to stadiums, the tournament organisers announced on Friday. The league stage will be hosted in three cities – Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. The detailed schedule and venue(s) for the play-offs will be announced at a later date. “PKL Season 8 was conducted in a comprehensive bio-bubble (in Bengaluru). Now, we are even more enthusiastic about the upcoming PKL Season 9 as fans will be back in stadiums,” PKL league commissioner Anupam Goswami was quoted as saying in a media release. The player auction for the forthcoming season had been held in Mumbai earlier this month.
