IPL 2019: Bairstow, Warner tons take Sunrisers to 231/2

Openers Bairstow and Warner were involved in a record-breaking 185-run partnership in an Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Sunday

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Warner started, Bairstow took over and the fun never stopped. 59 in the powerplay, a maiden fifty for Bairstow was doubled in short time and when he was dismissed - the pair had added a record opening partnership - 185 runs. Warner wasn't to be denied, got to his own hundred in the final over and SRH wound up on 231 - leaving RCB in tatters and in distraught. 

This is the second highest IPL total against RCB. Highest: 232/2 KXIP vs RCB, Dharamsala, 2011. Royal Challengers Bangalore need 232 runs from 120 balls.
