TIRUCHY: DMK has been cheating minority people by aligning with Congress who have a partial saffron ideology alongwith an illegal alliance with the communal BJP and they have the TVK as an option which would ensure 100 percent transparent government, said TVK president actor Vijay among the cadres at Marakkadai in Tiruchy on Thursday.
Filing the nomination for Tiruchy East, Vijay addressed among the mammoth gathering of cadres and asked the Chief Minister MK Stalin about the failed promises of the government. He said that the DMK president and Chief Minister is an expert on giving false promises which could never be fulfilled. “But TVK ensures the fulfilment of all the poll promises and the priority would be on education,ration, drinking water, road and transport facilities “, he said.
Targeting the minister KN Nehru , Vijay said, the minister had involved in collecting bribes for employment in his department. “Those were your jobs and they were misused”, said Vijay amidst the huge cheer from the crowd.
He claimed that there was a scam to the tune of Rs 1000 crore and Stalin Sir Tax (SST) and the announcement of 2000 appointments in higher education department was possible only for five persons. “Every promise stands still with just promises but TVK assures 100 percent able government”, he said.
Reiterating that the Karur incident was a conspiracy, Vijay said that the issue with his final movie Jananayagan is also a group conspiracy. He said that the movie could connect the real bond between him and his cadres (fans). “Ours is a ‘Poorva Janma Bandam’ and there was a group conspiracy to destroy it. “Time has come and I have come to you for your support “, he said.
Meanwhile he accused the DMK for having an alliance with Congress which has a partial saffron ideology and an illegal alliance with the BJP has been cheating the minority people and so the people should be aware of it.
While addressing, he spread his hands towards the crowd and sought their support. He also said that he had been bearing the pain in his life for the people. “I have come here as your brother and son and so you support me. Let the election be the Whistle Puratchi election. Do not differentiate our candidates and me”, he stressed.
