The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 18 IPS officers on Thursday.

A state Home Department spokesman said Deputy Inspector General (Intelligence), Meerut, Rajendra Prasad Pandey, has been sent to Anti-Corruption Wing, Lucknow in the same capacity.

Assistant Superintendent of Police in Crime Branch-CID, Lucknow, Sunita Singh, has been made Superintendent of Police in the same department and Superintendent of Police  (Vigilance), Lucknow, Rajendra Kumar, has been made SP (Intelligence), Ayodhya, the spokesman said.

ASP Economic Offence Wing, Lucknow, Rakesh Pushkar, has been made SP Vigilance, Lucknow, the spokesman added.
