Radhikapur–SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express to launch on January 17

CHENNAI: The inaugural service of Train No 06224 Radhikapur (West Bengal)–SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express will be flagged off from Radhikapur railway station at 1.45 pm on January 17, 2026 (tentative), Southern Railway said.

It will leave Radhikapur on January 17 (Saturday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 3.05 pm on the third day.

The train will also make stops at Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi and Jolarpettai.

The coach composition includes 2 AC Two-Tier coaches, 6 AC Three-Tier coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches, 2 Second Class coaches (disabled-friendly) and one luggage-cum-brake van.

Southern Railway also stated that regular services of all the trains will be notified separately.
