Kumaraswamy appoints district in charge ministers

Almost two months after expanding his Congress-JD(S) coalition cabinet, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today appointed district in-charge ministers.

Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara who also holds Bengaluru related subjects, has been made in-charge of Tumkuru, his home district, along with the city.

Revenue Minister R V Deshpande, along with his home districtUttara Kannada, will also look after Dharwad district.

Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar will take care of Ramanagara along with Ballari, while Industries Ministers K JGeorge, who is from Bengaluru, has been given the charge of Chikkamagaluru.

The other ministers are: Municipal Administration Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi- Belagavi, Health Minister Shivananda Patil-Bagalkote,Social Welfare Minister Priyank KhargeKalaburagi,Mines Minister Rajashekar Patil-Yadgiri,agriculture Minister Shivashankar Reddy-Chikkaballapura, Labour Minister Venkataramanappa- Chitradurga,Law Minister Krishna ByreGowdaBengaluru Rural and Kolar.

Housing Minister U T Khader-Dakshina Kannada, Backward Classes Welfare Minister C Puttaranga Shetty- Chamarajanagara, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Zameer Ahmed-Haveri, Women and Child Development Minister Jayamala- Udupi, Forest Minister R Shankar- Koppal, Education Minister N Mahesh-Gadag, Animal Husbandry Minister Venkat Rao Nadagouda-Raichur, Small Industries Minister S R Srinivas- Davangere, Minor Irrigation Minister C S Puttaraju-Mandya, Tourism Minister S R Mahesh- Kodagu, Cooperation minister Bandeppa KashyampurBidar, PWD Minister H D Revanna-Hassan, Transport Minister D C Thammanna- Shivamogga, Horticulture minister M C Manguli-Vijayapura, and Higher Education Minister G T Deve Gowda- Mysuru.

Kumaraswamy, who had taken oath as chief ministeralong with his Deputy G Parameshwara on May 23, expanded his cabinet with the induction of 25 ministers on June 6.
