The service has been launched by the IT department of the Delhi government and will be available to all officials of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and guests visiting the Secretariat, a circular issued by the department said.

The Secretariat, including conference halls, auditorium and media room, has been entirely covered by the facility, it said.

A senior government official said visitors will have to register themselves by filling a registration form online through the Wi-Fi facility.

"Upon successful registration, the user/guest will receive an authorisation code on his mobile number provided while registering using sign-in option. By following the instructions step by step, the guests will be able to get free Wi-Fi facility in the Secretariat," the official added.
