The accused manages a farm and also works in a private firm. On Friday, he allegedly asked the girl to work in the farm. The family allowed her to go to the paddy field because both her parents were not well and they were struggling to manage the expenses. Also since she had no school, she went to the field where the man allegedly sexually assaulted her. In the evening the girl returned home crying and informed her parents about the sexual assault she faced. The family lodged a complaint with the Oragadam police after which the suspect was arrested following an enquiry.
