Woman, kids found dead, suicide suspected

Upset over what the future held for her hearing-impaired children, a woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well along with her two minor children at Udumalpet, in nearby Tiruppur district today. 

Police officials said that Kalaiselvi had been depressed over the fact that her two children – daughter Kaviprabha (13) and son Guhan (10-months old) were deaf. The woman who felt her children were faced with a bleak future, jumped into the well along with her children on Sunday, the police said. According to police officials, her husband is said to have discovered the bodies of his kin.
