VJ Chitra Suicide: Enquiry Completed, Report Will Be Submitted in a Couple of Days, Says RDO

RDO Dhivyashree has said that the investigative enquiry in VJ Chitra's death has been completed and the report will be submitted to the court in 2 days.

Actress, TV host and VJ Chitra was found dead in a hotel room during the early hours of December 9. As many of her friends had claimed that Chitra was pressurized both by her mother and her husband, Hemanth was arrested a few days ago and is currently under imprisonment in Puzhal Jail.

Following the demise of actress, VJ and TV host Chitra, an RDO investigation was conducted and it began with VJ Chitra's family members and her husband Hemanth Kumar.

After the inquiry with Chitra’s family, the RDO conducted an enquiry with the hotel staff where the actress was found dead. Her industry friends, colleagues and another serial artist Saranya who was last seen with the late actress were also enquired. It was reported that Chitra's manager Anand was also enquired for nearly two hours.

After the enquiry session, RDO Dhivyashree said that the final enquiry in the case is concluded today and the report of the same will be submitted to the court in a day or two.

Meanwhile, sources said the RDO enquiry has ruled out dowry harassment in VJ Chitra's suicide.
