Vinayagar Chaturthi spl: 350 buses to operate from Chennai

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday announced that 350 special buses will operate from Chennai today on the occasion of the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival.

In a statement, Tamil Nadu Transport Minister SS Sivasankar said, "On behalf of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, 350 special buses will be operated from Chennai to all destinations on 30/08/2022 on the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi. For the convenience of the passengers, provisions have been made to book long-distance State Rapid Transport Corporation buses to reach their hometowns and return. All passengers are kindly requested to make full use of the above service."
