TN Budget 2025-26 to be live screened at 100 places in Chennai on March 14

CHENNAI: The Chennai Corporation has planned to telecast the state budget session for the 2025-26 fiscal live at 100 locations across the city on March 14 and 15.

A press note read that the budget will be telecasted at 100 locations, including Central Railway Station, Murasoli Maran Park, Anna Nagar Tower Park, Koyambedu Bus Terminus, Marina Beach, Pondy Bazaar, Kathipara Park, Elliott's Beach, Tiruvanmiyur Beach and Tidal Park junction, to ensure public access to the report starting from 9.30 am on Friday.

The agriculture budget slated for March 15 (Saturday) will also be screened across all 15 zones under the city corporation. The GCC had similarly streamed the silver jubilee celebration of the Tiruvalluvar statue at Kanniyakumari across Chennai in 30 locations last year.
