Tamil Nadu government pays for 650 CISF personnel for 6 months time at the Madras High Court after the Supreme Court's decision to not interfere in their decision

Two days after the Supreme Court refused to interfere with the Madras High Court’s decision to replace state police with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, the Tamil Nadu government on Friday furnished the amount of Rs 16.60 crore to the Union Home Ministry.This amount would cover the Centre’s expenses for deploying 650 CISF personnel for six months.

The Madras High Court decided to replace its security provider, after lawyers created unruly scenes in the premises,holding up work.The state government approached the apex court after the Madras High court’s order of October 30,2015. However, the division bench of TS Thakur and PC Panth refused to interfere.
