CHENNAI: As only 26 per cent of the voters have linked their Aadhaar Card details with EPIC card (Voters' ID) in Tamil Nadu, the Greater Chennai Corporation has decided to conduct special camps in Chennai on Sunday.

A Chennai Corporation official said that the camps will be conducted in all the polling booths in 16 Assembly constituencies in the Chennai district. "The camps will be conducted from 10 am to 5 pm. At the camps, the voters can submit details to Aadhaar and EPIC cards," the official said.

However, the voters who have already submitted 6B Form to the booth level officers during door to door drive need not to visit the camps, the civic body said.

Exercise to link Aadhaar and EPIC details was started across the country on August 1 as per the direction of the Election Commission of India.

Voters can also link thier details using https://www.nvsp.in website, Voters Helpline App and Garuda App.
