Anirudh was booked for Singam 3 and Kodi  in Tamil in addition to three  other Tamil and two Telugu movies. Sources in Kollywood disclosed that Anirudh has been cold-shouldered for  Singam 3 and two other Tamil movies. The same source said he could be out of Kodi too. Anirudh is currently in Canada following the song controversy and it has affected recording schedules, the source revealed. Meanwhile, work on three Tamil movies which has Simbu in the lead also has slowed down. Idhu Namma Aalu , Vettai Man nan and Accham Enbathu Mada maiyada are the movies he has on hand. While shooting is over for Idhu Namma Aalu , recording for one song is yet to be completed. The controversy has resulted in technical work for the movies coming to a halt.
