RSS leader Subbarao passes away

Senior Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Subbarao died in Coimbatore on Wednesday.

A press release here said he was a senior sangha pracharak from Tamil Nadu. He was a Swayamsewak from Chennai and became sangha pracharak more than six decades ago.

He was a Maths teacher in Government school, which he resigned to dedicate himself for a great social cause. He was instrumental in carrying out the biggest flood relief work at Vedasandur taluk in Dindugal in 1970. He also led the Tami Nadu batch participation in Goa Liberation Struggle. His mortal remains were brought from Coimbatore and kept in Chennai Shakthi Karyalayam here. The last rites will be performed on Thursday morning.
