The users upload their photos with a caption which says, “I post a picture that makes me feel proud to be a mother. I am going to tag some women that I think are fabulous mothers. If I marked you as one of the awesome mons, post a picture and tag more mothers.” The recipients post only one photo which they think is a memorable one with their kids.

“Busy with household chores and cooking for the kids, I never bothered about taking pictures with my children. It is always my son who clicks photos of us together. Most often, I don’t even get time to take a look at them. I also usually don’t accept such Facebook challenges. But recently, when I came across a tag from one of my friends, I thought of sharing a picture as I have not posted any photos with my kids on any of the social media sites,” said Bindhu C, a resident of Guindy.

“After sharing the photo, I got so many comments from my friends, and it was also good to see my school and college friends too posting pictures along with their kids, whom I have never got a chance to meet,” she added.

Some women are sharing four to five pictures showing their kid in different stages of growth. “I have made them into a collage, and it has photos of my daughter right from the age of five to 20. I am happy to see our kids’ looks in different stages of growth,” said Sembarthi P, a resident of Avadi.
