‘Monsoon delayed, might start before Deepavali’

The much anticipated, North-East monsoon might be delayed in the state, MET officials said.

According to the sources from MET, North-East monsoon would normally start around 20th of October.

Weather officials forecast that the season may start just days ahead of Deepavali on October 29.

The weather forecast is that Tamil Nadu will receive scanty rainfall till October 27 and would receive steady spells only after October 27, this year.
