Police said that the actress and a few other artistes were rehearsing at a dance studio owned by dance master Sridhar in West Mambalam for an upcoming show in Malaysia.

On Wednesday, Azhagesan barged into the studio, went to the green room of the actress and allegedly tried to misbehave with her. However, others in the room secured and handed him over to Mambalam police.

The actress said that Azhagesan had been harassing her over the phone for the past few days. “After learning that I was practising at the studio, he barged into my green room and tried to misbehave with me,” she said while speaking to the media.
