Main accused in car loan fraud held

The bank fraud prevention wing of the Central Crime Branch has arrested the main accused in connection with a car loan fraud case.

R Sathish Kumar of Kodungaiyur was secured from his hideout in Karnataka and remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday.

The CCB sleuths had already arrested one Sathish of Kodungaiyur for cheating the Syndicate Bank in Ashok Nagar to the tune of Rs 60 lakh by availing car loans.

The main accused used photographs of eight persons to create fake documents in different names to avail the loan, said the investigation officer.
