Former students of Tiruvallur govt school reunite after 35 years

Interestingly, the former students of the school also decided to honour the teachers who did only teach lessons but also life skills.

CHENNAI: Reminiscing the school life after three decades and taking the reunion as an opportunity to create awareness among the public, former students of Tiruvallur government high school reunited after 35 years, on Sunday.

From the year 1983-87, 89 students from classes VI to X studied at the Tiruvallurgovernment high school. Though they have been working in various fields and besides being held up with work and family lives, these former students of the school have been in touch over the years to keep their childhood memories alive.

Interestingly, the former students of the school also decided to honour the teachers who did only teach lessons but also life skills.

On Sunday, 89 former students and teachers of the Tiruvallur government high school met and interacted with each other and shared collective memories. Meanwhile, taking this as an opportunity to create awareness and turning this as a learning opportunity, the former students spoke on the adequate use of electricity, afforestation and traffic regulations.
