The accused was identified as Dr Karthik. The police said he had sexually abused the youth, who approached him for treatment for head-ache. The doctor took him to a separate room, made the youth undress and then sexually abused him in the names of collecting semen, for a detailed test. The doctor reportedly told the youth that he was doing it because machines are not available. The victim, who felt violated, approached the police with a complaint. “We have arrested the doctor, who had studied in London, based on a complaint from the youth,” the police said.
