Actor and Political hopeful Rajinikanth addressed the press outside his Poes garden residence on Wednesday.

When queried about Delhi violence and CAA, the Darbar actor reiterated his earlier statement that if Muslims are afflicted by CAA he will show solidarity with them, but when the law is still not on force one cannot call the Delhi incident as an example of that, the actor quipped.

Also he didn't appear hopeful of the government rolling back CAA.

Further he said violence should be curtailed with an iron fist and laid the blame wholly on the Central intelligence failure.

The veteran actor also rubbished some media outlets' claims of calling him as a second fiddle of BJP in Tamil Nadu.
