Adyar triple murder: Bodies of murdered migrant worker, wife, and son to be sent home free of cost

A few days before, a family of three, including a two-year-old boy, from Bihar were brutally murdered by a gang of five migrant workers at Adyar.

CHENNAI: Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday ordered that the bodies of family of migrant workers from Bihar who were killed be transported to their native places free of cost by the Health Department.

In a statement, the Tamil Nadu government said the Chief Minister came to know that the families of the deceased were unable to take the bodies home due to financial constraints.

Following this, he directed the Health and Family Welfare Department to make arrangements for transporting the bodies to their hometowns without any charge.
