Acting on complaints that Madhan, who went missing for the last couple of days after leaving behind a letter, has cheated students by collecting cash to the tune of Rs 200 crore promising medical admissions in SRM Group of Institutions, police have registered cases against him.

A letter, allegedly written by Madhan, said he was going to Varanasi to attain samadhi. The reason for this extreme step seems to be some differences between him and Paarivendhar, founder of the India Jananayaka Katchi (IJK) and the SRM Group.

Madhan has written in the letter that he had worked hard to re-establish the brand SRM and make it a top name in education.

While Paarivendhar has refuted Madhan’s claims, the complainants staged a protest in front of Paarivendhar’s house in the city on Wednesday evening.

A search is on in Varanasi by Madhan’s friend T Siva of Amma Creations along with his well-wishers. Meanwhile, Madhan’s two wives separately filed complaints with the police to trace the whereabouts of their husband.
