Casagrand Foundation opens low-cost diagnostic centre in Chennai

The centre provides services such as ECG, digital X-ray, routine blood and urine tests, ultrasound scan, CT scan, Troponin test, diabetes and thyroid profiles, creatinine screenings, and full-body health check-ups.

CHENNAI: Casagrand Foundation has opened an affordable diagnostic centre in Besant Nagar offering more than 100 diagnostic tests and health screenings at subsidised rates starting from Rs 25. The facility is intended to improve access to basic and advanced diagnostic services, particularly for low-income families.

The centre provides services such as ECG, digital X-ray, routine blood and urine tests, ultrasound scan, CT scan, Troponin test, diabetes and thyroid profiles, creatinine screenings, and full-body health check-ups.
The fee ranges from Rs 25 for glucose tests to Rs 2,000 for CT scans, with master health check-ups priced at Rs 1,500 and women-specific health packages at Rs 2,500.


Located on 1st Avenue, opposite Ellaiyamman Temple in Shastri Nagar, Besant Nagar, the facility houses a fully automated laboratory and diagnostic imaging units. The diagnostic centre will function from Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm, and on Sundays from 7 am to 1.30 pm, said a press release. Appointments and enquiries can be made through the contact number provided by the foundation.
