CHENNAI: A car caught fire in the middle of a road in Tondiarpet on Sunday. According to Thanthi TV, fire tenders were called in to douse the fire.

The car driver suddenly noticed smoke emanating, forcing him to stop the vehicle. As he got down, the vehicle went up in flames in the middle of the road.
