AIADMK to hold silent rally on Jaya’s death anniversary

The ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu will take out a silent rally on December 5 to mark the third death anniversary of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

A party release here on Saturday said Chief Minister and AIADMK Joint Coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister and Coordinator O Panneerselvam will lead the rally to mark the solemn occasion.


The rally will begin at Anna Salai and will end at Jayalalithaa’s memorial on the Marina beach front where the AIADMK leaders will pay floraltributes to her.


The party cadres will also take an oath on the occasion, the release said.


All the AIADMK members and cadres have been requested to take part in the event, the release added.
