The two have acted together in Pattadhari, which marked Aditi Menon’s debut in Tamil film industry. In her complaint, she has alleged that they developed a relationship while shooting the film in Madurai, Abi Saravanan’s hometown. While she said no the marriage at the initial stage of her career, she and his sister allegedly received her signature in wedding registration forms at the Registrar’s office in Madurai.

However, she later realised that Abi Saravanan who portrayed himself as social worker in the public, had relationships with several women. She then started avoiding him and moved out of the house he rented for her and her parents. Recently, she received a summon from Madurai family court where Abi Saravanan has sued her for conjugal rights. “Abi Saravanan  is sabotaging my acting career,” the actor said, seeking criminal action against him.
