The accused Kalimuthu (60) was a running grocery store and misbehaved with the victim when she was sent to his shop to buy vegetables. Since the girl complained of his behaviour to her parents, the latter lodged a complaint at Tirumangalam all-women police station. A case was registered and the accused was remanded in judicial custody.
