Police said burglar broke the back door of the house of Nateshan at Chumbakulam near Arambakkam and looted the gold ornaments kept inside the bureau. Nateshan and family were fast asleep when the incident took place. 

Nateshan woke up on Wednesday morning only to find the bureau open with all the materials inside strewn around and the gold ornaments stolen. Nateshan has lodged a police complaint and further investigation is on.
