36 pilgrims injured, 6 seriously, as bus overturns

As many as 36 Sabarimala pilgrims, hailing from neighbouring Karnataka were injured, six of them seriously, when the bus in which they were travelling, overturned at Kizhakkencherry in this district of Kerala today

Police said the bus carrying the pilgrims from Bennarghat in Karnataka were returning home when the tragedy struck around 0845 hrs.

The injured were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College, they added.
