29 more succumb to coronavirus in Chennai, 22,890 under treatment

The latest reports said that around 29 people have died in Chennai in the last 12 hours.

As per reports, 29 persons have died due to COVID-19 complications as of Tuesday morning.

The highest toll was reported in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital with 10, 7 from Stanley Hospital, 7 from Omanthoorar Hospital, 4 in Kilpauk Hospital and one a private hospital in Chetpet.

Meanwhile, Chennai reported 22,890 active cases. Kodambakkam remained at top with 2,990 people under treatment followed by Teynampet (2,447), Anna Nagar (2,383) and Royapuram (1,999).
