CHENNAI: As many as 14 EMUs operated on the Chennai Central-Gudur section will be cancelled due to line block permitted between Gummidipundi and Ponneri railway stations from 9:15 am to 1:15 pm on July 29 and July 31 (4 hours).
Moore Market Complex (MMC)-Gummidipundi local train leaving MMC at 8:05 am, 9 am, 9:30 am, 10:30 am, and 11:35 am, MMC-Sullurupeta local leaving MMC at 10:15 am, and Chennai Beach-Gummidipundi local leaving Beach station at 9:40 am will be fully cancelled.
Gummidipundi-MMC local leaving Gummidipundi at 9:10 am, 09:55 am, 11:25 am, 12 pm and 1 pm, Sullurupeta-MMC local leaving Sullurupeta at 10 am, and Gummidipundi-Chennai Beach local leaving Gummidipundi at 10:55 am will also be fully cancelled on both days.
In lieu of the cancellation, passenger special trains will be operated from MMC to Ponneri at 8:05 am, 9 am and 9:30 am, Chennai Beach to Minjur at 9:40 am, MMC to Ennore at 10:30 am, MMC to Minjur at 11:35 am, Ponneri to MMC at 9:27 am hrs and 10:13 am, Ponneri to Chennai Beach at 11:13 am, Minjur to MMC at 11:56 am and 1:31 pm, Ennore to MMC at 12:43 pm, and Sullurupeta to MMC at 12:20 pm on July 29 and 31.
