SpiceJet raises captains’ monthly salary to Rs 7L

The hike will be applicable from November 1, 2022, a statement said.

NEW DELHI: SpiceJet on Wednesday announced a revised salary structure for its captains, raising their monthly remuneration to Rs 7 lakh per month for 80 hours of flying.

The hike will be applicable from November 1, 2022, a statement said.

Salary of captains will be higher as compared to their pre-COVID salary.

Salaries of Trainers (DE, TRI, LTC) and senior first officers has also been increased commensurately.

’SpiceJet has been increasing the base salary of pilots. Compared to August, the September salary saw a rise of up to 10% for trainers and 8% for captains and first officers.
