Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday launched a new variant of its hatchback -- Alto -- priced at Rs 380,209.

According to the company, the BS6 compliant vehicle -- Alto VXI+ -- will be available with aero edge design, high fuel efficiency, and latest safety features.

"The new Alto VXI+ with the SmartPlay Studio is tailor-made to offer a unique technology-driven experience to our customers," Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India was quoted as saying in a statement.

As per the statement, the 'SmartPlay Studio' is a "17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system, enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto".

The BS6 compliant vehicle delivers a fuel efficiency of 22.05 km per litre.
