Lindstrom India expands workwear service ops in city

CHENNAI: Lindström India, a 100% subsidiary of the Finnish Lindström  Oy, India’s only organised workwear service company has just expanded the workwear service unit in Chennai to serve the growing demand of the services in south coming from electronics industry, food industry etc.

Inaugurating the new service unit, Juha Laurio, President-CEO, Lindstrom Group said, “Chennai has been a strategic choice for us. In accordance with our strategy, we want to be located close to our customers and serve them in the markets where they operate." The business unit in Chennai not only increases capacity by 100 % but is designed to support Lindstrom’s Sustainability Goals to be Carbon Neutral by 2035. The unit is Chennai is expected to employ about 100 employees.
