EdTech firm Vedantu appoints Arvind Singhal as COO

E-learning platform Vedantu on Thursday announced the appointment of Arvind Singhal as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Singhal will lead Vedantu's growth strategy and scale up the organisation while working very closely with sales, marketing, academics, operations, and customer experience teams.

Based in Bengaluru, Singhal will report to Vamsi Krishna, CEO and Co-founder, the company said in a statement.

"Vedantu is a category creator in LIVE online learning and I'm elated to take on the mantle as COO," said Singhal.

"We are very pleased to have Singhal on board. He has a proven track record and is a leader with unparalleled understanding of business and people," added Krishna.

The company said this week that at least one million students attended live online classes on Vedantu's platform.

Vedantu's collections and revenue grew by 80 per cent over the previous month, achieving the highest growth over the collective last 2.5 years.
