The video shared by Michael Fujiwara shows a sea lion swimming near the dock, then moving closer after it takes a piece of food given by a member of the girl’s family. The girl then moves to the ledge to watch, then sits facing away from the sea lion in the water. 

The sea lion then lunges for the girl and pulls her by her dress into the water. Amid screams and cries, a man jumps into the water and pulls the girl to safety without further interference from the sea lion. 

Fujiwara says in his description of the video that no one was injured in the incident.
