Chennai city was steeped in sorrow of a techie Subhasri falling victim to a banner collapse.

As the people's anger shifted to the apathetical political parties, Kollywood actors did their bit to show solidarity with Subhasri.

Slated for Diwali release, the Vijay-starrer Bigil will have its audio launch next Sunday on the 22nd September. The actor has instructed his social welfare organisation not to erect banners or cut-outs for the audio launch.

'Thalapathy' Vijay's sensible gesture heaped praise from all sections of the society. Likewise, Actor Suriya too had requested his fans not to lavish on banners and cut-outs for his upcoming release 'Kaappaan'.
