Irish nun’s football skills go viral

A video of an Irish nun showing off her football skills to an Irish policeman has taken the internet by storm. The nun and the policeman, identified as Garda O’Connell, had a friendly game of ‘keepy uppy,’ where the ball must be kept in the air without the use of hands, on the streets of Limerick in Ireland.

The 23-second viral video of the nun playing in her habit and sneakers was posted by the Irish Police Department on its official Facebook page with the caption, “Well what can we say, this definitely isn’t something you see every day - Garda O’Connell of Henry St Community Policing Unit playing keepy uppy with the Dominican Sisters at the Our Lady of Limerick Triduum and festival which was held from the 25th—27th May at the St Saviours Dominican Church, Glentworth Street, Limerick. We’re not sure who won this time, a rematch will have to be scheduled.” The video has got over a million views in four days.
