Enjoy a weekend of Tamil theatre

A popular theatre festival is bringing a specially curated, exclusive weekend of Tamil plays from August 26-28 at the Museum Theatre, featuring Chennai-based renowned theatre groups such as Theatre Zero, Guduguduppakarai and Koothuppattarai.

Theatre lovers can expect an eclectic mix of genres and great performances at the festival. The weekend opens with Vinodhini Vaidyanathan’s Aayirathioru Iravugal performed by the Theatre Zero production house. 

On August 27, Sunandha Raghunathan’s Mundhirikotte will be staged. This will be performed by the Guduguduppukkari group while Sunday sees N Muthuswamy’s Vandi Chodai performed by Koothuppattarai theatre group.
