Among the first ones to wish was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who wrote, “Dear @SrBachchan, wishing you a very happy birthday. Your versatility & humility has many admirers. Praying for your long & healthy life.” 

Dhanush and wife Aishwarya also conveyed their wishes on Twitter. Sunny Leone even rapped for Big B. Sunny, who is currently in Los Angeles, shared a video in which she’s dancing and singing in her backyard. 

In response, the Big B tweeted this picture and wrote, “To them that bring all the love and wishes for the birthday.. folded hands in gratitude.” The early 1970s witnessed Bachchan’s stardom for his hit movies like Deewar and Sholay among many others. He was dubbed India’s ‘Angry Young Man’ for his on-screen roles. Referred to as the ‘Shahenshah of Bollywood’ and ‘Star of the Millennium’, Big B has since appeared in over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four decades.
