Actor Vivek, who launched a massive tree planting project ‘Green Kalam’ reiterated the cause with a recent Tweet.

In the post, the actor can be seen handing over a plant sapling to a kid.

The actor emphasized the importance of teaching children, the values of tree planting. He pointed out that planting trees is the need of the hour, and stated that it is the most important work, considered the current world scenario.

He insisted all Tamil people to become ‘Mara thamizhargal’ (Word play, which means Tamil people supporting trees).
